Mix 96.1 “Pet of the Week” meet Sissy

Mix 96.1 has teamed with Bryan County’s three animal rescue groups for our new “Pet of the Week” segment.

Meet Sissy!!!

Sissy was picked up as a stray about three weeks ago and
has had no inquires. She is about 4-5 months old and now weighs roughly 22 pounds. Sissy is black with a tiny patch of white on her chest.

She does have a little bit of hair loss that may be related to flea dermatitis of demodex mange ( the non-contagious type; easily treated).

Sissy is very friendly and outgoing. She gets along with other dogs in the pound and is always excited to see visitors come. She is working on not jumping up on people but she is just so darned excited to see you that she wants to hug everyone.

We have been really surprised that Sissy’s owner hasn’t come
looking for her. She obviously had a home at on time. She had on a pink collar and has a green spay tatoo on her tummy. In the mean time, until Sissy finds her forever home, she enjoys lounging in the pool on the hot days and just hanging out with her canine buddies.
